  1. Rommel’s 115th, 15th Panzer Division.

Please may I ask if you, or anyone you know, possibly have any old photographs, the WW2 account (and links) of Lorenz’s 15th Panzer unit, including of their capture, and the transportation of the prisoners to the USA.

Lance Corporal Lorenz Schöen, was attached to Rommel's 115, 15 Panzer Division, he and his men were captured at El Alamein, North Africa on 11th May, 1943, by the British Army and General
    Montgomery.

I believe Lorenz Schöen and all of his men were transferred into American hands as Prisoners of War, they were then all transported to U.S. Camp Fort Sam, Houston, San Antonio.

I look forward to learning a great deal more.
    My very best wishes.
    Jed
